Cleansing and Detoxing

Fall is a particularly good time to pay attention to cleansing the body. People have cleansed throughout the ages to remove buildup of toxins and impurities in the system which constantly drain our immune systems.
There are countless ways to cleanse, but here is just a sampling of ideas to consider:

1) Digestive Cleansing
One of the most comprehensive ways to rid the body of the accumulated junk (mucous and build-up) in our digestive track. Digestive cleanses may involve fasting, wheatgrass juice, or juicing, cayenne pepper, enemas and colonics. Each of these is intended to assist the body in the process of elimination (particularly the elimination off all the “bad” things we’ve ingested over the years). Often the results of digestive cleansing - after the initial “reaction” stages of headaches or irritability- include feeling more “clear-headed”, lighter, more aware, less fatigued, energized.

Cleanse and Purify Thyself is a great book to read before doing a cleanse and Health and Yoga is a great resource on this topic.

2) Skin Brushing / Dry Brush
Brushing your skin with a dry body brush is one of the best ways to clean your skin. It may feel kind of odd but it is more effective than brushing your skin with a wet soapy brush or sponge.3) Pranayama
Incorporating a breathing practice, with breath retention, and focus on expelling all the air out of the lungs helps invigorate and cleanse the lungs. Many yoga studios offer a pranayama class or incorporate pranayama in their scheduled classes.

4) Tongue Scraping / Tongue Cleaning
Ever notice that slimy white (or sometimes yellow, if you’re sick) film on your tongue? Sounds, gross, I know, but that’s the mouth’s eliminatation system and one of the causes of bad breath (the rest of it is coming from your digestive system). A tongue scraper can be used to scrape off coated tongues first thing in the morning.

5) Detox Bath
Use a combination of epsom salt, sea salt and baking soda to help pull out toxins from the skin (another great way to eliminate toxins). This one can be especially beneficial to ease emotional imbalances.

6) Water Flush
Most of us know that it’s important to stay hydrated and drink lots of water. A Balinese healer gave me another tip…drink 2 liters of warm water first thing in the morning to flush your system.

Lips Care Tips

When you come across someone, the first thing that catches your attention is the face. Soft healthy pink lips usually draw attention. They lend a fresh invigorating look to your face. Lips are the most sensitive part of our body and therefore require constant nurturing. Thus, it is of prime importance to pay attention to your lips. Dry chapped lips spoil the whole look and make your face appear dull, pale and unattractive. Well, in this article, we will present you with a couple of tips on how to take care of your lips, so read on.

Lip care does not comprise of a single task, but a series of activities that need to be performed on a constant basis to get a fruitful result. Luscious lips set the perfect mood for romance. To reduce the proximity between you and your partner, take regular care of your lips, so that they look fresh and healthy. Luscious lips also provide you the opportunity to stand out in the crowd. They bring you in the limelight.

Protect your lips from the harsh weather conditions. Eat plenty of green veggies and fruits. Gorge on foods rich in Vitamins. Increase your intake of water. Apply lip balm and keep your lips moisturized. Lips will look beautiful and attractive only if they are healthy. Applying makeup on dry chapped dark lips will not make them appear eye-catchy. It can only invite unwanted attention that brings forth the fact that your lips are dry and chapped. Refrain from licking your lips.

In this section, we will throw light on the following aspects related to lips:

Lip Balms
Lips go through a bad time during cold and dry months. They have a real tough time coping with the worst climatic conditions. Dry chapped lips, which are the result of lack of moisture in the skin, lead to embarrassment and frustration. It is here that lip balms come to rescue.

Lip Gloss
Lip gloss not just lends a moisturizing effect to your lips, but also makes it appear luscious. It is one among the various cosmetic products that women use to adorn themselves. It brings about a major change in the way your lips look. To cater to the varying needs of customers, there is a multitude of lip glosses offered in the market.

Lip Augmentation
In the present era, people are becoming extremely conscious about their looks. The desire to look beautiful and attractive is so deeply rooted in people, especially women that they are resorting to almost every possible procedure that enhances their beauty. Lip augmentation surgery is increasingly gaining popularity, as it helps a great deal in making the lips appear attractive.

Chapped Dry lips
When it comes to body care, lips are usually deprived of pampering and nourishment. Since lips are the most visible part of the human body, they truly deserve special attention. When the lips lose their moisture, they become chapped and dry.

Cosmetic Lip Tattoo
Cosmetic lip tattooing is not a trend of the present era. Infact, it has been practiced since the bygone times. Its origin can be traced back to the times of ancient African and Mediterranean cultures. It is a primitive body art that has been more often resorted to by women to give their lips a perfect look and enhance their beauty.

Lip Piercing
In the contemporary times, people are becoming simply crazy about body piercings, especially lip and tongue piercing. Lip piercing is very much in vogue these days. It is a type of body piercing which involves penetrating into the lip or the area surrounding the lip. Lip piercing was initially practiced by the African tribes, who wore ornamental lip plates in their lower lip.

How to Apply Lipstick
Applying lipstick is an art and therefore not everyone’s cup of tea. It requires a specific technique, which most women are unaware of. There is a proper way of wearing lipstick. But, unfortunately many females escape the long procedure and resort to a short cut method, which mars the whole look.

Home Remedy for Chapped Dry Lips
For getting rid of the problem of dry chapped lips, there are plenty of home remedies available. The best thing about them is that, being natural, they are absolutely safe to use. On losing moisture, the lips tend to crack and turn dry. In this situation, refrain from licking the lips, as it can worsen the problem.

Dark Circle Under Eyes

Woman expresses herself through her eyes and therefore you have to take special care to make them more expressive and beautiful. We bring you tips that will help you take care of your eyes and much more.

Dark Circle Under Eyes

Dark circles occur under eyes due to a combination of reasons. It is noticeable under the eye, as people get older. As we age and receive more sun damage to our facial skin, the thin skin under the eye can become thinner and wrinkled, which allows the veins in the fat pad under the eye to become more prominent. As the skin here is slightly darker than the rest of your face, any changes in health show up immediately in this delicate area. Some people think that they occur because they are either tired, or as a result of sun exposure. This is not typically the case. Sometimes the dark spots can be hormonal, but often they are just hereditary.

Sometimes the dark spots are caused by the reflections or shadows cast by the bulges of fat that occur naturally in the lower eyelids as people get older. If the bulging of fat is the cause of the dark circles under the eyes, then cosmetic surgery to remove the fat bags is the only approach that is typically effective, other than concealer makeup. There are many contributing factors that make dark circles around the eyes more noticeable.

Age
The skin covering the eyelids thins out as we age and starts to loose its elasticity. With the skin being thinner the blood vessels underneath become more apparent. To assist in collagen formation and re-vitalizing your fragile skin around the eyes - please consider taking an extra vitamin C (ascorbic acid) supplement, after checking with your medical practitioner.

Heredity
Tendencies such as allergies or thinner eyelids pass on from generation to generation.

Allergies
Although allergies are often the blame for dark circles, anything that causes chronic nasal obstruction can be the culprit. You might not have a major medical reaction to an allergen, such as wheezing, couching, sneezing or a closed chest - you could simple have a slightly stuffy nose, or swollen eyes most of the times. Tests can be done to determine environmental or food allergies with a simple skin scratch test, a blood test or other alternative types of testing. If you have any of the tests done, and they come up positive for any item that you could avoid as far as possible, go the extra mile and try to cut the allergen out of your sphere of living - be that either environmental or food in origin. Vitamin C is effective in fighting allergies.

Fatigue, tiredness or lack of sleep - Plain tiredness will also add to the problem of bags under your eyes, and especially to those ugly dark circles under the eyes. Have a look at the amount of hours you sleep and also check on the amount of hours you work in front of your computer or watch television - both these actions place a tremendous strain on your eyes.

Smoking
You might not smoke yourself, but even secondary smoke can affect the way your eyes look. Most people will have a violent reaction to smoke, such as the eyes turning bloodshot or watery, while others will manifest their allergy as swollen eyes. Take vitamin C as smoking kills off large amount of this vitamin, every time you light up.

Ingesting excess salt or sodium
¨C Try and cut down on eating raw salt as it could add to your problem with water retention.

Fluid retention - Fluid retention can be a major cause of swollen eyes. Vitamin C is a natural diuretic and an increase in this vitamin will not only assists in removing excess water from your body, but will also assist with collagen formation.

Other reasons of dark circles are menstruation, pregnancy, thyroid and over exposure to the sun.

Following are few treatments for dark circle that will help alleviate or conceal them.

Dip a cotton swab into freshly extracted mint juice, rosewater or cold milk. Lie down with your feet raised higher than your head, and then place the wet pads on your closed eyes. Stay that way for 10 minutes. Do this everyday and you will start seeing results before long.
Gently massage saffron or almond oil on the dark area before going to bed.
Lie down and place a slice of cucumber or potato on each eyelid for about fifteen minutes.
Follow a diet rich in iron, vitamins and proteins. Deficiencies immediately show up as circles under the eyes.
You can also use a mixture of almond oil or cucumber juice with lemon juice to lighten dark circles.
Drink lots of water and get plenty of rest.

Exercise for the eyes

Sit down and relax. Breathe normally, and look at a spot between your eyes, above the bridge of your nose. Keep looking at this spot for a count of five, and then relax the eyes. Next look at the tip of your nose, also to the count of five and relax. This exercise will ease the stress and tension and will relax your eyes.
Sit down and relax and look straight in front of you. Inhale and look right as far as possible, without turning your head. Slowly come to the original position and exhale. Repeat the same method for the left side. Do this exercise three times.
Sit up straight and look down. Slowly inhale and start rolling your eyes to the right and then to the top, in a circular movement. When your eyes have reached the top, looking towards your eyebrows, start exhaling while moving your eyes left and downwards in a circular movement. Repeat three times

Caring for Oily Skin

* What causes oily skin?

The right oily skin care is essential for anyone with oily skin. Oily skin does not look healthy and is prone to skin problems like acne. It is important that such skin be given proper treatment for oily skin.
What is oily skin and how is it caused?
Oily skin is caused by over-active glands, which produce too much sebum. Sebum is produced by the sebaceous glands. It is necessary as it helps lubricate your skin and carries away dead skin cells. When the skin is oily, too much sebum is being produced. The skin becomes dull and greasy and pores may become clogged.

The extra secretion of sebum can be caused by many factors. Heredity, diet, birth control pills and the wrong cosmetics can all cause oily skin. Hormonal balances can also affect the production of sebum, which is why oily skin is often common in teenagers, pregnant women or women going through menopause.
Problems Faced by People with Oily Skin
People with oily skin often suffer from skin problems, like blemishes, acnes, black heads, white heads and pimples. Enlarged and clogged pores may be a problem. Oily skin often looks dull and shiny. With the right oily skin treatment, it is possible to treat such problems.
How to have less oily skin
Oily skin, and the problems it brings, can be minimized. Thorough cleansing can prevent some of the problems associated with oily skin, as it removes the dirt and dust and stops the pores becoming clogged. As make-up can also clog pores, it is important that all make-up is removed before going to bed. Here are some more tips on how to have less oily skin.

NATURAL METHODS

Natural oily skin care can be very effective. Food intake, proper hydration, herbal care and other natural remedies can all help provide the proper treatment for oily skin.

Food Intake

To improve your oily skin through nutrition, eat plenty of foods that are rich in protein. Include lots of leafy vegetables and fresh fruit. Vitamin B2 can help prevent oily skin, so include good sources of B2 by eating wheat germs, whole grains, beans and nuts.

Cut down on the amount of sugar and fat in your diet, and avoid soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, chocolate and fried food.

Hydration

People sometimes make the mistake that oily skin does not need to be hydrated, but oil is not moisture. Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water. A good moisturizer, that is suited to oily skin, can also help keep your oily skin hydrated.

Foundation Tips

Test foundation along your jaw line - not on your hand and definitely not on the inside of your wrist. View it under different light settings. It must match the natural color of your neck.

* For easy transition from day to night makeup, touch up with Sacha’s Dual Activ Foundation. If will provide the finish of a powder with the coverage of a foundation.

* Dampen your cosmetics sponge to create a sheer finish.

* For a great makeover you must start with the right foundation. Whereas eye shadow, lipstick, and blusher accent the face, it is the foundation that sets the tone for a woman’s appearance. Sacha’s foundations are all yellow-based. If you are like most women, you have yellow-based skin and must wear a yellow-based foundation. Our Sacha Foundations are available in cream, liquid, or dual activ (powder and foundation in one). Test foundation on the jaw line or forehead.

* If you want your foundation to look sheer, apply it with a sponge. For more coverage apply it with your fingertips. Professional makeup artists prefer using a makeup brush as this will apply and blend the foundation beautifully.

* Tap foundation on with sponge or finger. Your skin will look luminous, yet natural.

* To give the skin a dewy finish, moisten a gauze pad or wash cloth in astringent and gently pat your already made up face. The astringent (witch hazel is perfect) will remove the matte look of makeup, while leaving the skin radiant.

* Open your mouth when applying foundation to expose the neck area and eliminate an obvious line at the jaw line.

* Keep two shades of foundation on hand. One will be suitable for winter, and the other for summer skin. Most of the year, they will match perfectly if mixed together.

* If the foundation starts to curdle, do not use it anymore.

Bubbly Girl

SHE'S been the body of Louis Vuitton, the feet of Reebok, a muse for Marc Jacobs, the face of Dolce & Gabbana's new make-up range and last night Scarlet Johansson added another fashionable feather to her cap - as the first ever Hollywood spokesperson for Moet & Chandon.

After walking the red carpet at London's Big Sky film studio and posing for a frenzied paparazzi in a sexy black lace cocktail dress, the screen siren rubbed shoulders with London's A-list, which included Thandie Newton, Eva Herzigova, Jacquetta Wheeler and Joseph Fiennes.

"I am honoured to have been chosen as [Moet & Chandon's] ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of Champagne!" said the chocolate-haired starlet of her iconic new role as the face of one of fashion's favourite non-fashion brands.

Photography's dynamic duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott - who have been credited with giving fashion back its glamour and refinement and produced campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Fendi - shot Johansson's Moet campaign, which will see the Hollywood bombshell's face showing up everywhere from billboards to bus-sides come April.

Facial Massage

When done by experienced hands, a facial massage can help ease tension, soothe, tight muscles and relieve pain. Remember, a facial massage should not be done on an inflamed skin and it should not be done without the use of oils or a light
dusting of talc or baby powder to make the skin more malleable.

Always keep in mind the nature of your skin while choosing the kind of cream for facial massage (Know your skin type). If your skin is normal or oily then you can use an ordinary cold cream or an all-purpose cream. If, on the other hand, your skin is dry then use vanishing cream or vitamin cream. Massage with light pressure of fingers. Bear in mind that the facial massage is done with upward strokes. From inner side to outer side, and from lower to upper parts. Skin around the eyes is extremely sensitive, therefore, the cream should be applied there without putting any pressure.
Facial massage should be done for about ten to fifteen minutes so as to get sufficient time for the cream to penetrate the skin. The surplus cream on the face should be wiped off with cotton wool swab.

What are Basic Movements of Facial Massage?
The basic movement are the relaxing movement, which are slow and soothing. There are the stroking movements and vibrations. Then their are the tonic movements, which are rapid and energetic. These are the kneading, pressing and percussion movements.

Suffering from Wrinkled Skin?
Facial massage is an effective way to remove wrinkles. Facial Massage is a slow process and its results are obvious only when it is continued for a longer period. It is, indeed, not a magic wand to bring a change overnight. One has to be patient with it. There is, however, no doubt that facial massage reduces the unattractive fleshiness, tightens the tissues and muscles and increases blood circulation.

Facial massage is more effective when the skin is clean. After having cleaned the face, press it with light but firm pressure while applying a good cream. Trained fingers can hold the skin dexterously and apply even pressure. With the passage of time, all the visible defects like wrinkles, flabbiness, and dead cells vanish and a fresh and young look is restored.

Facial massage should start from the neck upwards and end at the forehead or temples because all veins and tissues get blood circulation by this process. The skin around eyes is delicate. So it is advisable to apply cream on this part without pressing it. Cream takes fifteen to twenty minutes to get absorbed, so massage for that long. Wipe off extra cream with a cotton wool swab soaked in water.

To protect your hair, tie a cloth or scarf on your head before starting facial massage. Hands should be washed with soap. Remove all traces of makeup, otherwise the pores of skin will be blocked by particles of makeup items. If there are blackheads, they should also be removed. If the skin is oily, remove its oiliness either by applying cleansing-milk or PH acid. Fresh lemon juice is also effective in removing oiliness. A
lemon, sliced half, can be rubbed on the face. If the skin is dry, use a good moisturizer before massage. If the skin is damp, it is advisable to use some astringent lotion. The best time for facial massage is before going to bed.

Methods for Facial Massage
Slow Massage: This kind of a facial massage is done slowly by hitting and vibrating the skin. The skin is pressed lightly with the soft fleshy tips of fingers. The process starts with a slow speed from the neck, the speed increases as it moves upwards. Stroking gives rest to the nerves and vibration is useful in subduing pain caused by massaging. Vibration is produced either by fingers or by an electric gadget, which
is called 'eyebrow massager'.

Massage by Pressure: In this method of facial massage, pressure is applied with the fleshy tips of fingers. This is effective for removing the pouches beneath eyes.

Fast Facial Massage: In this method of facial massage, the front half of both the palms is used to massage with speed. Massage is done with a circular motion upwards. It is a quick way to remove wrinkles.

Facial Massage by Stroking: Chubby cheeks are stroked with the tips of fingers. If the nose is broad, this method is used (strokes are applied) to both sides of the cheeks, from nose to temples.

Facial Massage by Pinching: In this method of facial massage, the skin is held, as in pincers, between the thumb and fingers. It is effective for double chin and wrinkles of jaw.

Facial Massage by Kneading: Hands are folded in a fist form and face is pressed as in kneading the flour. The movement is from the chin to cheeks and upwards. It is good for wrinkles.

How often should I do a facial massage?
You can give yourself a facial massage at least once a month. It is important that you relax and enjoy the total experience the calmer you feel, the better will be the result. The facial massage should last about 10-15 minutes, anything longer will be too tiring.

What to use for a Facial Massage?
Always use a cream or oil suited to your skin type (Know your skin type). Vitamin 'C' cream should be applied before facial massage, but the quantity of this cream should be enough only to give sufficient greasiness to the skin so that hands and fingers move smoothly on the face. If the face is fleshy and fat, use slimming cream instead of Vitamin 'C' cream. An oil-free cream or baby powder is best for those with a oily skin. A few drops of warm almond oil is a treat for dry skins.

Steps of the Facial Massage:
Tie your hair back, away from the face.
Apply the cream over the face and neck. Use powder for oily skins.
With your hands facing inward, start at the base of the neck and run your fingers lightly up, onto and over the face. Let the fingers of one hand follow those of the other, to the center of the face.
Using your index and middle fingers only, tap lightly all over the face.
With the thumb and index finger, gently knead the chin around the mouth and the fleshy part of the cheeks. Don't pull or pinch at the skin, but keep the movements firm, steady and even.
Smooth and soothe the forehead by ironing over the fine lines. Hold the skin firm between the index and the middle fingers of one hand, and using the index finger of the other hand, massage the skin with in and out movements. Do this over the whole forehead.
Using the same 2 fingers, massage the cheeks in circular movements.
Now for the eyes: With the middle finger of each hand, gently smooth over the brow bone to the outside of the eye, then bring the fingers below the eyes and back to the center. With the little finger, press around the outside of the eye especially where fine lines are present, and release immediately.
Repeat all the above steps thrice.
Finally close your eyes, and relax for a few minutes.
Remove all of the cream.

Make Up & Hair Tips

Many people will spend significant time fixing their makeup so it is just right but then overlook the importance of their hair, or vice versa. The face and hair are generally the first two things people will notice first. For this reason, you want to ensure your makeup and hair, complement one another. As you will see from the make up and hair tips below, you can achieve movie star results with ease.
We will start with the beautiful Carmen Electra. She has a natural yet glamorous look that most women would do anything to have. Carmen is the type of woman that walks into a room and everyone notices. Part of this is caused by her luxurious hair, some by her beautiful body, and some because of her face and the makeup she chooses.

The nice thing about Carmen’s make up and hair tips is that they can be achieved by anyone. Best of all, even though it appears as though she spends hours after hours getting ready for a big appearance, Carmen’s look is actually very low maintenance. If this look is what you want to immolate, then the goal here is to place an emphasis on the lips and eyes.

First, you would start with clean skin, followed by a good moisturizer. Next, apply concealer in the corners of your eyes and if you have any dark circles under the eyes, there too. To create a base for the eye shadow, you will also apply a small amount of concealer to the lid. Next, choose a light, sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer. Now, apply a little pressed powder, choosing a shade that matches the color of the foundation. To finish the base, use a peach or pink colored blush, applying only to the apples of the cheeks.

For the eyes, you will apply a medium brown eye shadow on the lid, followed by a deeper chocolate brown in the crease. Blend these two colors well and then add a nude shade to the brow bone to help brighten the eyes. Brown or black eyeliner will create drama and a small amount of powder brushed over the eyelid will finish the look. Finally, Carmen uses a faint peach or pink liner and then a lighter shade of gloss.

We can no longer accept the myth that "Some women are just naturally beautiful... and you’re just NOT," or that you are simply "TOO OLD to be sexy anymore." You no longer have to live with the insecurity and shyness that comes with not living up to other womens beauty. The movie star looks truly is about synchronizing all aspects of your look, from hair to makeup to your natural features. With the knowledge and techniques of hollywood beauticians and fashion experts such as the Get Gorgeous now! team, every women can look like a star without the expensive surgeries and beauty treatments.

For our next make up and hair tip, we will look at the ever beautiful Angelina Jolie. Considered one of the most gorgeous women in the world, her look can be copied. First, Angelina’s hair is what healthy hair should look like. She uses only the best products, such as clarifying shampoos and leave-in conditioners. Whether wearing her hair down in soft curls or pulled back in a slick ponytail, her hair is magnificent and sensual.

For Angelina’s makeup, she has a very natural look that is unmatched. For the face, you would choose neutral shades, applied to your entire face, excluding the eyes. However, before applying makeup of any kind, you want to use a good moisturizer. Then, the foundation is applied in a satin or matte form.

After that, blend the makeup in well. Next, you will apply a concealer underneath the eyes, adding a little to your eyelids. With a large, powder brush, loose powder is applied all over the face, including the eyes, which helps to set the makeup. Now, a sponge or puff is used to apply powder around the eyes, which will help the eyeliner stay in place longer. For the blush, peach or pink tones are used, applying only to the apples of the cheek.

To recreate Angelina’s sensual eyes, a pearly, neutral taupe is applied to the eyelid. Then, a nude eye shadow is added to the crease and blended lightly. To enhance the eyes, a medium brown color is added in the crease, going from one corner of the eye to the other. Again, a nude shade is applied lightly but this time on the brow bone.

Choose black or blue pencil liner, starting in the inner corner and working toward the outside corner. For the eyebrows, choose a shade of pencil just one shade darker than your hair color. The arch needs to be just right so take your time defining the shape. Your eyelashes should be curled and lengthening mascara applied. Finally, nude or pink lipstick or gloss should be applied to create a soft, sensual look.

Eyebrow Tips

Not everyone is born with a full set of eyebrows. In fact, some women have scraggly eyebrows form birth, whereas others simply grow into them as time goes by. Fortunately for those who desire the full eyebrow look, it is possible to create your own.

Filling in your eyebrows

The first strategy for filling in your eyebrows is to acquire the proper tools. You will need a small eyebrow brush, an eyebrow pencil, and an eyebrow powder. Women who have fair complexions do best with a blonde shade. Women who have olive complexions do well with a brown shade. Women who have African-American complexions do best with gray shades.

First, brush your eyebrows downward in an even manner. If you do not have an eyebrow brush, you can use a dry, clean mascara wand to accomplish this properly.

Next, you need to define the arch using your eyebrow pencil. Simply draw a line using the pencil along the upper edges of your eyebrows. Take your time. If you make a mistake, remove your line and begin again.

Once you have the eyebrow line defined clearly, brush your eyebrows up and out. You can add in a bit more fullness using your eye shadow. Using a stiff eye shadow brush, preferably one with a bit of a slant to it, dust a bit of eye shadow powder into the hairs of your eyebrow.

This step can be a bit tricky, so take your time again. It is important that you only use a small amount of powder in order to create a blended look. Take your brush and dip it into a very small amount of eye shadow powder. Apply the powder in between the hairs of your brow using short strokes. Avoid using pressure when you apply the powder, but rather, use gentle strokes.

If you have made the mistake of over tweezing your eyebrows, you can minimize the damage now. Simply brush your eyebrow hairs in the same direction that the new growth of hairs is coming in. This should diminish the choppy look. Now, reapply eye shadow powder as needed.

When filling in your brows, you should always avoid adding any depth to the tops or bottoms of the brows with powder. This does not improve the look or the fullness of your brows in an appreciable manner. If you wish to set your eyebrow hairs in place, you can apply a clear eyebrow gel at this point of your beauty treatment.
