Soleil Moon Frye launched baby-clothing line

Soleil admits that being a mom is not easy:

We just do the best that we can as moms, as business owners, and when we fall down and we fail, we say, we’ll do it better next time,” she told during the presentation.

And then we get up and we do it better next time. Then we continue going on and being strong. The hardest part is just finding the balance and making sure there’s always the aspect of family and that the family is always first, and that you have that balance.”

Soleil seems to be a success making her family life happy and the career going up. She likes speaking about her kids and she even chose them to show the pieces from the fashion line she created.


Soleil Moon Frye has launched her eco-friendly baby-clothing line called The Little Seed. The line includes shirts, pants, blankets, and onesies in solid, vivid colors which were inspired by the colors of a candy store.


Talking about the relationship between her two children - daughter Poet Sienna Rose, turning 4 next month and baby Jagger Joseph Blue, 15 ?-months - she said:

She’s the best big sister in the whole entire world. She’s amazing. They’re so good together.”


Soleil founded the store with partner Paige Goldberg Tolmach in 2007 when both women understood they shared same desire to create “a safe haven for our friends and family to come to” for “non-toxic options” in raising their children. The idea behind The Little Seed appeared when Soleil realized that “millions of other families” felt the same way.

The store is very popular already, and Soleil and Paige have even boosted that popularity with their new clothing line.

Literally, we were constantly trying to figure out what to put on our babies,” Soleil explains.

Both our kids had allergies, and we wanted to create an eco-alternative that they could wear that would be incredible, it would be colorful. We wanted to kind of spin the concept of organic upside down and really create something that was vibrant and beautiful and colorful and filled with life, and happy and cheerful.From beginning to end it’s been the most amazing process.”

So we can really say that we’re so proud of all the love that’s put into it,” she adds. “Our belief is it’s all about balance and that a little eco goes a long way. So you can have an eco-lifestyle and still be fun and stylish and colorful.”
