Make-up artist TOXIOUS has done shoots for Vogue and i-D with Rachel Weisz and Kate Moss. Here he explains the best products that he always advise girls to keep in their make-up bags at all time...

Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Mask£35, by Bliss (blisslondon.co.uk). I love this eye mask – great on models straight off the 'red-eye'. It instantly brightens eyes after little sleep. It's magic.

Diorshow Black Out Mascara £19.50, by Dior (020 7216 0216). This mascara is so black it makes you look like you have got false lashes on.

Vitalumiere Liquid Foundation £29, by Chanel (020 7493 3836) This foundation gives all skin types the appearance of retouching. Skin just glows – it's the best.

Colour Rush Mono Special Effects in Glitzed £3.42, by Rimmel, from Boots (boots.com). A gorgeous silver eyeshadow that really brightens a smoky eye – just add a dot to the inner-corner of the eye.

When applying nail varnish always be sure to paint underneath the surface of the free edge of the nail, too. This will seal your colour and prevent chipping. If your nails aren't very long just brush a horizontal stroke along the end of the nail-bed. This will seal the ends on short nails
